Christmas List 2.2
This is the first screen you will see upon opening the program. Tap on "Change Password".
From this screen you can change your password. (Please note the default password is 54321) To change your password type in your current password in the Old Pswd: line. Next type in your new password in the New Pswd: line, and press OK. You should receive a confirmation of your action. If you don't want to password protect your program, tap the check box "Don't ask for a password", and follow the above procedure.
To enter the program tap "Enter" from the security screen.
This will bring up the pin number pad. Enter your PIN and press enter.
This is the opening screen you will see upon entering your PIN. Tapon list
This is the list screen where you enter information for the people you wish to keep track of. Tap on list
Listing will show you the information you entered, but in a table format, so its easy to address envelopes. Tapping the arrows will change the view as shown above. Tap list and then main, to return to the main menu. Now tap cards
Cards screen will allow you to track info about the cards that you send as well as receive. Tap list
Cards list makes it easy to see at a glance who you have missed (if any). Tap cards and then main to return to the main menu. Now tap Gifts
This will take you to the gifts screen as shown above. (Caution: follow these instructions step by step to prevent problems)
1) First tap the "+" button to create a new record.
2) Select the name from the drop down menu under name.
3) Enter any information about the person you may have, such as the budget amount, Sizes for them by tapping the button, Hint's you may have received and gifts you may have bought already.
4) To enter another person repeat this procedure.
5) Tap "Calc" to update the amounts. Its that easy!
Now tap "List". This will bring up a list of people you have entered.
From this view you may tell if the person is done by the check under "X". It also shows Budgeted amount. Budget + column shows amount allocated for that person, budget - shows total amount left in budget for that person. Total column shows amount spent on that person. At the bottom under totals, + shows total amount allocated for your christmas budget, - shows total amount left in the budget, "Spent" hightlighted in bold shows total spent on Christmas. Remember to always tap "Calc" when entering this screen to update the figures! Now you have all the figures with you when you go shopping! Now tap "Back" at the top to return to the Gifts menu.
Now tap "Hint's".
This shows the gifts the person may have hinted about, or gifts you thought of. Now tap "Reminder".
Reminder will remind you of important events coming up! Don't miss that sale. Tap "Sizes".
In this menu enter those sizes you can never remember. Tap "Beam" at the top to beam this record to somone else using Christmas List. Now tap "Back" to return to the Gifts menu. Next tap "Main" to return to the main menu.
From the main menu tap the check mark to go to the check list..
In this menu you can add all the items you don't want to forget. Check them off as you get them or complete the item if its a todo. Tap "Reminder" at the top to set a reminder alarm. Now tap "Main" and return to the main menu.
Now tap "Recipes".
In this screen enter the recipe name and the directions for the recipe. Tap "Beam at the top to beam the recipe to someone else. To show all ingredients or directions and to scroll the fields, tap on the field you wish to view and use the rocker buttons (up and down) on your device to show the rest of the field. In this example we tapped on the direction field and pressed the down rocker button to get this view. Notice that more of the directions are now visable.
Tap "List"
From here you can view all the recipes you have. Simply tap on one to go to that recipe.
Through out the program the "+" button creates a new record. The "-" button deletes a record. The "<" button moves you back to the previous record, one at a time. The ">" button moves you forward to the next record, one at a time.
