DreamReminder is distributed with "DreamConverter", a Windows® program that accepts Windows® bitmaps (*.bmp)
with the width and the height of 160 pixels and converts them into Palm OS® database format (*.pdb).
Each image can have an included info text which is shown in DreamReminder whenever you select it. |

If you don't want to include the built-in image "Beach" in the displayed images, deselect [Show Beach].
If you don't want to change the images automatically, deselect [Change automatically].
You can change the current image anytime by manually choosing another one from a popup list. |
In the directory in which you find DreamConverter you also can find some converted images.
Images for handhelds with greyscale capabilities have the prefix "DREM16_",
images for handhelds with color capabilities have the prefix "DREM256_".
You can install these images on your handheld in the same manner you install applications using the Install Tool.
If you want to install your own images to be displayed with "DreamReminder"
you first have to bring them into the right format with the help of a graphics editor.
Then convert the images with DreamConverter. DreamConverter accepts the following format:
TYPE: Windows Bitmap, RGB encoded, uncompressed
WIDTH: 160
HEIGHT: 160
COLORS: 16 (4 bit) or 256 (8 bit)
Bitmaps with 4 bit color depth should be based on a palette with the greyscales:
#000000, #111111, #222222, ..., #FFFFFF
Bitmaps with 8 bit color depth can only use colors from palette index 0 to 239.
Please decrease the color depth to 240.
