Installation of Exotic Wager Calculator is straightforward. Uncompress Exotic.zip file using winzip, pkunzip,
infozip or any other suitable zip extraction utility. Locate the the file called
"Exotic.prc" and double click on it
(single click for users of Windows Active Desktop with single-click option enabled).
The Palm Installation utility will spool the application for installation and display
a dialog showing the files about to be installed on the next HotSync. Now, perform a
HotSync with the desktop and the application will be installed on your Palm device.
The registration key can be purchased online at http://www.handango.com

After purchasing the registration key simply enter the key on the registration screen and tap the 'register' button. A correct verification will result in the application displaying "Exotic is registered to:?????" where ????? is your HotSync user name.
Note the registration screen is also accessible from the Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta and Superfecta-4 screens by tapping the menu launcher button, and selecting "Register" from the drop down menu.
In this example, runner number 2 has been chosen to finish first, runner number 3 has been chosen to finish second, runner number 10 has been chosen to finish third and runner number 7 has been chosen to finish fourth.

In the bottom left hand corner of the screen there are four toggle buttons labelled 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th, select the 1st button and then select button number 2 from the 24 button selection grid. To calculate the total number of combinations for the above wager simply set the bet amount to '1'. The resultant cost can then be used to represent the total number of combinations covered by the wager. For this example it is 360 combinations.
In this example, runner number 2 has been chosen to finish first, runner number 3 has been chosen to finish second and runner number 8 has been chosen to finish third.

Note that on those screens that are restricted due to the 'unregistered' state the Field button is not functional until Exotic is registered.

THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT IS DISPLAYED CONSPICUOUSLY SO THAT YOU CAN READ IT BEFORE INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, RETAINING POSSESSION OF THE SOFTWARE FILE AND USING THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT INDICATES THAT YOU HAVE AGREED TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THEM DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
The Software is shareware. The unregistered copy is limited to seven selections for all boxed bet types and three selections for the final placing of all multi selection bet types. In order to make a greater number of selections you must purchase a registration key.
LIMITED USE LICENSE - Prior to purchasing the License and receiving a unique registration key for the Software you are permitted to freely download the Software and you are encouraged to distribute the unregistered Software to others. In order to make unlimited selections a unique registration key must be entered that will unlock and provide full use of the application. After purchasing the License and receiving and entering your unique registration key, you may install and use only one copy of the Software on only one unique handheld or personal digital assistant operating on a Palm Operating System at any given time.
COPYRIGHT - The Software is owned by Palmsoft and is protected by copyright laws, international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. You must treat the Software like any other copyrighted product except that you may distribute the unregistered version and make backup copies of the Software solely for backup or archival purposes.
RESTRICTIONS ON USE - You may not sell, market, license, sub-license, license for fee, rent, lease, lend, enhance, modify, prepare derivative works, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, change and otherwise engage and/or exploit any software or intellectual property developed by Palmsoft.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY - The Software and its related documentation are provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind and Palmsoft expressly disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied.
