Palm OS® Applications   Support   Web Store   About dhs*Software

PayCheck is an easy-to-use hours-worked tracking application that will, with a few daily taps of the stylus, keep track of your time card to make sure your company is calculating your payable hours correctly.  No more guessing or trying to remember what times you punched in or punched out during the day for each week.  No more photocopying your time card then trying to decipher the time intervals.  It's all right there, saved digitally for future reference to match against your pay stub each week.

See Time Calculation Conventions Below ...

Note:  Your Clock In & Clock Out Times should be rounded off to the nearest 15 minute interval.  Your Lunch Punch Out & Punch In times can be any start and stop time as long as the interval between is in 15 minute intervals.  Most companies use this formula for calculating your time card.  How they round up and down, however, varies between companies ... If you only work a half a day, your Lunch Punch Out & In times must be the same as your Punch Out time, or if you don't take a lunch, pick a time and make the Lunch Punch Out & In times the same ...
All fields for each day worked MUST BE filled in! ... If you don't follow these simple rules, you will get inconsistent results ... Also, this version does not support cross-date shifts.  For example, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am will not calculate correctly, however, 12:00 am to 8:00 am will.

The Options Menu on this screen allows you to clear any day.  Due to the Time Select Dialog function you cannot remove a time with the normal Palm OS® Edit & Delete options, so I have included day clearing options to fix any mistakes you may make on any day.

When you are paid, access the Pay Period from the Unpaid Pay Period display and check the [ ] Paid checkbox and enter the number of hours your company paid you in the Paid ~ Hrs: field.  Then tap ( All ) and access the Paid Pay Period display to see if you were overpaid (Good) or underpaid (Bad).
