Installation Instructions

Thos product is designed to run on Microsoft Pocket PC (Windows CE version 3.0 or greater).

Microsoft .NET Compact Framework SP 2 approx 14MB

This product is built using the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework. This is an operating system extension which is available as a free download from Microsoft. Windows Mobile 2003 devices include this within the ROM, however PocketPC 2000 and PocketPC 2002 users will need to install this.

If you do not already have this installed on your device, you should download and install this first.

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 CE

This product also requirea Microsoft SQL Server 2000 CE. This is a high performance database manager which is included in the download for those users that do not already have this installed.

To install, use ActivSync to copy the SqlCE.PPC3.ARM.CAB file to any folder on your device. Use Pocket File Explorer to locate the file and tap to start the install. The CAB file will be removed from your device once the install has finished.

Main Product

To install the core product, please perform the following steps:

1. Ensure that you have established an ActiveSync session between your desktop PC and Pocket PC.
2. Run setup.exe from your desktop PC.
3. Confirm the prompt requesting installation in the default folder.
4. Check your Pocket PC to see if there are any additional steps.
5. Review any prompts to overwrite existing files on your Pocket PC.
   See the note below regarding the data file.
6. Start the application from the icon in the Programs folder.
