A: The best way to install these
backdrop is to have an SD/Memory Stick Card Reader connected
to the USB Port on your Desktop Computer. Put Your
SD/Memory Stick Card in The "SD/Memory Stick Card
Reader" Go to "My Computer" on the Desktop and
find the Drive Letter that represents the SD Card Reader on
open up the SD Card. Next " Drag-N-Drop"
The Entire "File Or Folder" onto the SD/Memory
Stick Card. (Make Sure It Is Outside Any Other
Directory on the Card). Now close down all windows
open. Remove the SD/Memory Stick Card From the SD/
Memory Stick Card Reader and place into your SD/Memory Stick
Slot of your Palm Unit.
Start up "Silver Screen 3": within
SilverScreen tap on the Units Menu Button located on most
palms at the Left Bottom Corner of the Silk Screen Area
underneath the Little House Button. Go to
"Silver Prefs..." and Now tap on the
"Theme" Tab. Look for
"Backdrop:" and tap on the little Arrow next to it
and select "GIF/JPEG" from the Dropdown
Menu. This will open up your SD/Memory Stick Card and
you will see the folder "File Or
Folder". Now Tap On this folder once to open
up the backdrops. Next select the Backdrop file
you want by tapping on it, then tap on the "OPEN"
Button once to load the Backdrop. Finally Tap the
"OK" button and you now have a new
backdrop! Repeat these actions to change the
backdrop.
Backdrops can only be used
with SilverScreen 3 when used Palm OS5 or OS6.

the bottom right corner will show the Theme Icon of the
theme to be displayed. If it is correct tap the
"OK" Button. Now the Theme you
selected is in place. Next, follow the backdrop
installation instructions.

do I delete a theme from within SilverScreen 3 database
without having to delete and re-install SilverScreen3 Program?
A:
To delete a theme from your device
change to the List view (.>) at upper left top of screen
above the scroll bar) and tap the list-expander button ( +
- button right below time/date to the left) to display
databases. In the expanded list SilverScreen
themes are indented under the entry "Silver Data" in
the All category (scroll down until you see "Silver
Data"). Drag the theme file you want to
remove onto the Trash tool on the Tools sheet. Tap
the Trash tool and choose Empty to permanently remove the
items in the bin. Note: Watch what you delete,
Only delete the theme file.
Q: How
do I change or replace icons to match the theme I have
installed?
A: Use the corner
button or the Sheet menu to activate the Tools
sheet. Drag an application (or database) onto the
Info tool (the first of the four large icons shown on the
Tools sheet) to bring up the item's Information
dialog. Tap the icon that appears in the upper
left corner to access the Replace Icon dialog. Use
the pick list to select an icon set and then drag the desired
icon on top of the old icon to replace it. Use
this method if theme comes with add-on icons or allows rom
icons to be used. Main rom icons can not be changed.
Q: How
Do I install or remove an "Icon Set" Add-on?
A: Icon sets come
in [ File Name ].pdb file format. Before color
icon sets may be used the chroma.pdb Or OS5.pdb file must be
installed. HotSync the icon set file as you would
any other. Once installed the icon set will be
listed in the pick list of the Replace Icon dialog.
To remove an icon set first tap the list-expander (.>) at
upper left top of screen above the scroll bar) then ( +
- button right below time/date to the left) button to
display databases. In the expanded list
SilverScreen icon sets are indented under the entry
"Silver Data" in the All category. Drag
the icon set you want to remove onto the Trash tool on the
Tools sheet.

Start up "PalmaryClock" Program: within PalmaryClock
tap on the Units Menu Button located on most palms at
the Left Bottom Corner of the Silk Screen Area underneath the
Little House Button. Go to "Options",
"General" Tab and Then
"Preferences..." Now tap on the Box Next
To "Background:" To Open the Selection Area.
Under "Show:" Select
"Card". As Long As The
Backdrop Files Were Placed Into To "DCIM/Images"
Directory On The SD/ Memory Stick They Should Show
Up. Now Tap on the Backdrop File You Would Like To
Use And Tap The "OK" Button. At The Top
Left Corner There Is A "Slideshow" Box.
Check This If you Would Like To Have The Backdrops
Chance At A Set Timing. Once This Box is Checked
It Will Open At Check List Option You To Choose A Group
Of Backdrop To Have In The Slideshow. After
Selecting Tap The "OK" Button. Last, Set The
"Slide Show Delay" By Taping On The "Down
Arrow" Select From The List The Delay time between
each Backdrops Change. Tap The "OK"
Button To Return With the new settings.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NEVER REMOVE YOUR SD/ MEMORY STICK WHEN USING
BACKDROPS FROM THE MEMORY CARD. BEFORE
REMOVING THE SD CARD OR MEMORY STICK SHUT DOWN "PalmmaryClock"
BEFORE REMOVING THE SD CARD OR MEMORY STICK. SET
THE CLOCK BACKDROP TO NONE Or DEFULT. MAKE SURE THE SD/
MEMORY STICK IN BACK IN THE UNIT WHEN STARTING PALMARYCLOCK.
AS WITH ANY PROGRAM THAT USES MEMORY CARD STORAGE AS A
PART OF THE OPORATION REMOVING MERORY CARD WHILE IN USE
CAN CAUSE FATAL ERRORS AND THE UNIT MAY NEED TO BE RESET.
Q:
Should PalmaryClock be
ran within a Launcher Program such as Mega Launcher,
Silversreen and others.
A: NO, It is
not recommended to run a Launcher Program when using backdrops
from a Memory Card. Allot of Launchers
Program use backdrops themselves and in some cases this causes
problems in PalmaryClock Backdrop Options.
Palmary Clock is best ran from the regular Palm Screen.

A: The
Best Way To Install Kinoma Videos Files Is To Use The .PDB To
SD Card or Memory Stick Method!
Make sure that the Kinoma Player is
Installed. Next, Unzip the Video File "????.pdb"
From within the "????.Zip" The best and very
fastest way to us these vidoes is to use a SD Card or Memory
Stick Reader and Place the .pdb File onto a Card/ Stick By
Drag -N- Dropping them In the "Palm/Launcher"
Directory on your SD Card or Memory Stick. Kinoma
Player 1 or 2 can only read Videos from Any SD Card or Memory
Stick as long as they are inside this Directory.
If there is not one create it! First Make A Directory
Called [ PALM ] and inside it make one called [ LAUNCHER ] and
place the files there. Also You will need the
newest "KINOMA PLAYER" Installed on your Palm

INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLING A .PDB VIDEO FILE BY HOTSYNC: Make
sure that the Kinoma Player is Installed. Next,
Unzip the Video File "????.pdb" From within the
"????.Zip" File and Install As You Would Any Palm
File.
1.) You Double Click On The .pdb Videso File To Put It In The
Hotsync, Now Move it to the SD Card
by Dragging and Dropping Into The Expansion Card Area. Now
press the Hotsync button on the Cradle.
2.) Using Palm Desktop Method: Start up the Palm Desktop
Program, go to Quick Install and Add. Find the . pdb video

REPRESENTATIVE) ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY
SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT
ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE
EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
7. Limitation of Liability: UNDER
NO CIRCUMSTANCES INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL DDV BE LIABLE FOR
ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT
FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE OR RELATED
DOCUMENTATION, EVEN IF DDV OR AN DDV's AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE
LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY
NOT APPLY TO YOU. In no event shall DDV's total
liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action
(whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or
otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you for the Themes,
Backdrops, Photos Or Videos, and any demonstration.
8. Controlling Law and Severability:
This License shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of the United States and the State of New
Jersey, as applied to agreements entered into and to be
performed entirely within New Jersey between New Jersey
residents. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction
finds any provision of this License, or portion thereof, to be
unenforceable, that provision of the License shall be enforced
to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent
of the parties, and the remainder of this License shall
continue in full force and effect.
9. Complete Agreement: This
License constitutes the entire agreement between the parties
with respect to the use of the Themes, Backdrops, Photos Or
Videos, and any demonstration, and supersedes all prior or
contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral,
regarding such subject matter. No amendment to or
modification of this License will be binding unless in writing
and signed by a duly authorized representative of DDV.

to make frequent backups of your data to prevent loss.
As such, "DDV" or authorized representative of DDV
can not be held responsible for any damage and/or data loss
