Bubble Thriller 2 is new version adding high resolution graphics. This game is a part of Bubble Golden Pack 2 by Absolutist.com, which you can download from the Handango.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

"Bubble Thriller 2" works on the systems based on PalmOS 4.0 and later platforms that support screen resolution 320x320 and 65000 colors: Sony Clie PEG-SJ30, PEG-T665C, PEG-T650C, PEG-NR70, PEG-NR70V, PEG-T600C, PEG-T615C, PEG-T625C, PEG-N770C, PEG-N760C, PEG-N750C, PEG-N610C, PEG-NZ90, PEG-NX70V, PEG-NX60.

This game works also under PalmOS 5.0 and later: Palm Tungsten T and others coming in the near future.

INTRODUCTION

Do you like to burst soap bubbles? You pierce one with your finger, it bursts and begins a chain reaction of popping bubbles... Unforgettable experience of childhood:)... We tried to recreate these almost forgotten children's feelings in our game. The goal is simple, using the stylus you burst bubble and all the bubbles of the same color next to it burst too. The bubbles located below strive upward and fill the appearing gaps. The more bubbles burst the more points you get. The task is to clear the field from the bubbles. Everything is simple... But bubbles do not forgive your mistakes... If you burst less than three bubbles at a time, the "soap machine" shoots new bubbles on the field... And you can lose the game, if the bubbles fill the whole board.:(

This game contains three games, actually, with different playing fields and physics of the bubbles' motion. These games have common rules and share the same high scores table.

Why did we called the game "Bubble Thriller"? Because the player can be addicted by it for a long hours, and you can dream nightmares with bursting color bubbles at night. Be careful...:)

DOWNLOADING

To download "Bubble Thriller 2", use the standard Palm DeskTop HotSync process or equivalent to install BThriller.prc on your device.

Attention! For a perfect work of the game please install: for Sony Clie - BThrillerClie.prc, for PalmOS 5 - BThrillerOS5.prc.

PLAYING THE GAME

At the start of the game the board is filled with color bubbles. You can burst any bubble using stylus and all adjacent bubbles of the same color also burst. In the left bottom corner there is the counter of the misfires before the new portion of bubbles will be shot. In the right bottom corner there are the points you have scored and the symbols of the game type and level (SQ - squares, HX - hexagons, BB - bubbles, N - novice, E - expert, M - master).

The peculiarities of bubbles' flight

All bubbles strive upward, until they stumble upon other bubbles or the edge of the playing field. The bubbles in the games "Square" and "Hexagon" strive strictly upward. In the game "Bubbles" - upward beginning from the left edge of the line; that's why the feeling of random mixing appears sometimes, this " coincidence" can be predicted, in general, after several games.

Score calculation
You receive 1 points for the first exploded bubble, for the second - 2, for the third - 3 and so on. If you have blown up all the bubbles of one color then: for the first bubble exploded - 2 points, for the second one - 3 points and so on.

Misfires
If you burst less than three bubbles at once, the counter decreases by one, when it becomes equal to zero - a new portion of bubbles is shot to the playing field. The number of misfires cyclically varies from the maximum to one (the maximum number depends on the level of the game). At the beginning a maximum number of misfires is given to you, then the maximum number is - 1, then - 2, etc.

At higher skill levels the "soap machine" strictly punishes for the misfires. Especially at the MASTER level , where the a new portion of bubbles is shot after each misfire. You will have to apply all your energy while resisting the constant "pressure of the game".

Color shoot-out
If you shoot out all the bubbles of some color, say red, no more red bubbles will appear on the board. This would ease things considerably, of course. However, the number of shot bubbles increases, be attentive.

INTERFACE

Icon
You can find the game under this icon on your device.

Splash screen

However good-looking it is, after a hundred launches you are going to be sick of the splash screen. That's why you can interrupt it, just pointing with stylus at any place on the board.

Window "Menu"

You can call Menu right from the game, clicking the button Menu on your device. It also appears at first launching of the game.

CONTINUE - appears if you have an unfinished game.
NEW GAME - launches new game. Attention ! If the game is not finished it will be interrupted without any warning. Be careful not to loose your game. Also, there is option AUTORUN for game (see below)
OPTIONS - game options
HELP - here you can receive short help and information about us.
TOP 10 - here your best results, which you can publish on the net, are stored
BUY ME - information how to register the game (*)
REGISTER - the form for entering the registration info (*)
EXIT - to quit the game (you can quit the game clicking the button applications from any window of the program

(*) - these items will be removed from the Menu after registration

Attention! All windows except the main one are dialogs. You can leave them using buttons (OK) and (CANCEL).

Window "Options"

You can set up your preferences in the window "OPTIONS". To change the option's value, just click the appropriate option name

GAME - here you can choose one of the game modes (Squares, Hexagons, Bubbles)
LEVEL - here you can change the game level (novice, expert, master) (*)
SOUND - here you can tune the sound volume
AUTORUN - the option that allows you to start the game without the splash screen and menu (after the program launching you go directly to the playing field) (*)
GRAPHICS - for system with processor 33 Mz, regime LOW is installed automatically, graphics seems a little bit worse but the game works without troubles.
EFFECTS - For the game speeding up you can set effects to LOW.
FLY BUBBLES - You can disable flying bubbles if you are bored with them (by the way they can be exploded with the stylus!).
SKINS - you can also set the skins pleasing you eyes by clicking the bubbles.

(*) - these options are active in the registered version of the game .

Window "TOP 10"

You can look at best game results in this window. All three games use one united score table!

NOVICE/MASTER/EXPERT - this button displays the results for different levels
PUBLISH - this button opens the window with the code for publishing the best result on the Web

Window "PUBLISH"
Shows the information needed to publish the best result in the chosen level on the Web. Attention! Please be careful when filling the code in the publish form at our site.

REGISTRATION

After the registration:

The reminder window "BUY ME" will not nag you any more.

Registered users have the following advantages:

to choose the game level (expert or master)
to launch the game in autorun mode (without splash screen or menu displaying)
to preserve the running game when you quit the program
to keep the points in the table of top scores

Window "BUY ME"
It contains the information about where and how you can register the game. This window appears also as the reminder in the course of the game, with growing frequency.

Window "REGISTER"

Enter your license information into the form: fill First and Last names into the first and second lines, respectively, and the license code into the last one. Two NAME fields has room for 12 characters each, including spaces; if your name, or surname, is longer just stop when no room is left, the registration code will still work. Using the virtual keyboard or digitizer, you can enter letters, digits, a period, a dash and a space. You can choose the line tapping it with the stylus, the cursor (a blinking bubble) will show the line where you are now. Also you can switch between edit lines by pressing PageUp/PageDown keys or JogUp/JogDown. When you begin typing, the prompts (FIRST/LAST NAME, REG CODE) will disappear.
Typing is done by means of the virtual keyboard, where the special buttons mean:

- space

- backspace (deletes of the symbol before the cursor)

- deletes the whole line
