What can I use Avatars for?
Avatars are small images that can be used to represent the people and appointments in your life. You can use a picture of a little girl to represent your daughter or a stethescope to represent your doctor. Avatars have many uses in addition to your Address Book. Feel free to experiment with them. They can be used in any application which allows you to use a JPG image.

How do I install the Avatars?

Download the Avatars - You will receive an email with instructions on how to download your software. You do not need a registration code. All of your software has free updates for life. To update the Avatars you can use this same information to re-download it.

Find the Avatars You Want - An Adobe Acrobat PDF file has been included with this Avatar Collection. This PDF shows thumbnails of all of the Avatars so that you can find the Avatar that you want quickly.

Install the Avatars - The file format for all Chameleon Company Avatars is in JPG format. This allows the files to be compatible with a wide range of Palm OS programs. But it also means that the files do not install automatically by double-clicking on them on your PC or Mac. The JPGs need to be transfered to your device by copying them onto a removeable storage device. You also may be able to use Hotsync but it is important that you know where the files will end up so that you can locate them later.

Using the Avatars - These files need to be installed and used by following these simple procedures:

LifeDrive Installation: Put the Avatar JPGs into the Photos&Videos folder on your LifeDrive

Open a contact -> click edit -> click picture and add the avatar image

Open a contact -> click to edit -> In the upper left corner next to the menu at the top is an icon for a picture with an arrow -> click this -> choose the avatar to install

Why do the Avatars Come in Two Sizes
Avatars come in both large and small sizes. Some applications may not be compatible with the smaller sizes and you will need to use the larger size. Currently, the standard PalmOS Address Book will use only the larger Avatars.

Additional Avatar Sets are available at the same place that you purchased the current set.
